TRACK CHAINS

Through its extensive engineering knowledge, ITM supplies track chains, ranging from pitch 90 mm to 350 mm link pitch, suitable for almost all types of crawler machine from standard to specialized applications, such as the big conveyors.

 

In response to the market needs, ITM designs and manufactures the complete range of track chains, from traditional dry track chains, sealed and greased excavator track chains up to lubricated chains for high performance applications.

 

The constant research into materials and heat treatment processes, innovative structural analysis techniques, and rigorous cycles of tests inside the new experimental testing area, led to the development of the “extreme service” chains, the new range of chains for mining dozers.

• New full synthetic oil, ITM formula: its specific additive compounds guarantee high load capabilities, necessary to ensure a correct lubrication under extreme pressure conditions.
• New ITM Pin Retention “IPR” patented: to avoid relative shifting between pin and link.
• New plug retention system “PR”: to protect the plug from the aggressive agents in the ground and prevent the accidental plug run off.
• New Seal Groups: built with specific plastic coatings, guarantee low friction coefficient and long operation life.
